Property Valuations & Tax Maps

The Assessors carry out the Tax Commitment duties for the Plantation. The Tax Collector collects payments in accordance with the Tax Commitment issued by the Assessors.

Highland Plantation Residents & Property Owners:

The State of Maine requires all municipalities, including plantations, to maintain property sales pricing within a specified percentage of assessed value. Highland Plantation is currently below the required percentage range due to outdated property valuations. Therefore, the Plantation Assessors will conduct a complete revaluation of all Highland Plantation properties.

We will not need to enter any buildings on your property but will measure all buildings and waterfront footage as needed. Site visits will occur  Thursday June 19th , Friday June 20th, Saturday June 21st  and Sunday June 22nd , 2025, until complete. You do not need to be home.
